Olivier Charbonneau

Olivier_Charbonneau Olivier Charbonneau (Montréal, QC) As an associate librarian at Concordia University, Olivier Charbonneau is primarily interested in copyright issues as well as questions of open access and Web 2.0. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Maison de la poésie in Montreal and the International Federation of Library Associations’ Copyright and Other Legal Matters Committee. He is a board member and the president of the Comité sur le droit d’auteur of the Association pour l'avancement des sciences et des techniques de la documentation (ASTED) and represents this national francophone library association on the Executive Council of the Public Lending Right Commission and the Copyright Working Group of the Canadian Library Association. He is the Project Leader - Montreal for Creative Commons Canada. He holds two masters degrees from Université de Montréal, one in information sciences and another in law, as well as an undergraduate degree in commerce from McGill University.
